Rüdiger Lorenz began his musical education with 5 years of piano lessons as a child, followed by playing guitar in local beat-bands in the '60s. He became interested in electronic music when listening to records using the Moog synthesizer at the end of the 1960s. In 1972 he built his first Wersi organ, followed by various amplifiers and effects boxes. In 1977 he constructed his first synthesizer from an Elektor Formant kit. By the time of his passing Lorenz's collection included 38 synthesizers, including three large self-built modular ones. He was one of the pioneers of the DIY movement, not only building his own synthesizers and effects but creating and distributing his own music label, Syncord Records. (thx wiki)

he was one of the most important musicians for the famous period of turkish psychedelic music back in the 70`.
baris had one older brother. his name was savas, the turkish word for war.
Dr.Who, the most popular science-fiction series of all the times. by the way ,i never saw one episode!!! thats why i never heard the theme of doctor who. delia derbyshire, she is also the voice at the first white noise album- an electric storm composed it in 1963. you wanna know more about this song and also hear some other stuff from ron?

the music reminds me a bit to the funk-music from the GDR ,like walter kubiczeck or günther fischer.
chaba fadela was the first singer, of popular algerian folk music, who used a synthesizer for her songs. nebki ouahdi is on her first albumthat released in 1986.
on "here to stay" ,the first album from "the slickee boys", most songs are boring punk/wave . but with "girls wanne be with the girls"they created a good combination of 70sound ,mixed with a good dose of 80´s punk.
"Schlussphase" is a soundtrack from a stage play that runs in 82 at the "schnawwl" kids-theater in mannheim. its all about "end time" and atom wars.like every second stage play back in the 80´s ;)
matthias schuster, may some of you knew him as a part of bands like: geisterfahrer, im namen des volkes, jeanette und das land z, bal pare or das institut.
this solo album from 1981 is incredible! nice drums, nice synths and a dark & heavy sound.
"a rah robeel" is a slow and deep track and its one of my favourits on the album.
